For Spouses to Connect Through Shared Interests
Caring Savior,
Building connection is an essential element of a healthy marriage. One way spouses can achieve this is through shared interests. While they certainly have their individual pursuits and interests, help spouses see the value of being curious about each other’s interests. In some cases, they may end up discovering that they very much enjoy the same things. Or, even though they may not both enjoy the same things, there is a closeness that is built in still choosing to experience them together out of love for each other. And, when they decide there are some things they simply don’t both enjoy, they can still learn more about each other by asking questions about their preference for those hobbies or leisure activities. However you see fit, Lord, draw husbands and wives closer to each other as they share their lives in these ways.
