For Those Hurting Financially
Gracious Lord,
We live in a very prosperous nation, yet many are struggling financially. In some cases, poor financial decisions, unnecessary debt, and consumerism have contributed significantly to financial hardships. In other cases, rising costs, low income, and special needs also factor into the equation. Meet the needs of those who are struggling in the way that you know is best for them. When that help includes education, make it available. When accountability is needed, grant it. When financial assistance is necessary, move generous hearts to provide it as they are able, and to do so in ways that bless – and not enable – those in need. All that we have belongs to you, and you entrust your resources to us to manage well and to help those in need whenever possible. Guide our hearts to do so.
